Vaping Health Advisory

MEDICATION POLICY

If your child is to take a prescribed medication, carry or use an inhaler at school, please remember these items need to be brought to school by the parent/guardian. These items need to be in a prescription bottle or other prescription packaging with the name of the student, name of the drug, dosage, frequency of administration, route of administration, and have the physicians name on it. The diagnosis/indication for the use of the medicine shall be provided. A parent/guardian must request in writing that the School District comply with the authorized physicians request to give medication. Please remember that this is the school policy and this policy will be followed with no exceptions. Thank you for your cooperation and if you ever have questions, please call the school.

SICK DAYS

Please remember if your child has a temperature of 100.0 degrees or above they will be sent home. In addition, if your child wakes up with a temperature 100.0 degrees or above, they should be kept at home. It is to their advantage to stay home fever free for 24 hours before returning to school. If your child is vomiting, the same rule is followed.

This also helps in preventing the spread of infection between other classmates and on the bus.
